Yves Saint Laurent Chairs
In the shops of Yves Saint Laurent beauty there are consultations for skincare, fragrance & make up consultation. The mission was to create chairs corresponding to the customer's needs and to the universe of Mr Saint Laurent.
After several round trips with the internal team, we found and designed the skincare seat adapted to the beauty advisor's needs. We have designed a comfortable chair.

Equipped with an adjustable headrest, the skincare expert can come from the back of the client to massage his head.

We have also thought of the hook which allows the customer's bag to be accommodated up to the sliding system to facilitate the movement of the object.
The study begins by collecting the constraints related to the service, the size, the comfort and the usefulness of the chairs. because according to the different consultations the need is not the same.
Then the study of the shapes, the material and the overall identity of the object directs us towards the art-deco universe: what dressed the environment of Mr Saint Laurent.
Everything is to be assimilated into the new codes of beauty stores: Silver & marble.
